LAMB: McGOVERN FAILS ON JOBS
MARTY LAMB FOR CONGRESS FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
July 6, 2010
Marty Lamb, Republican candidate for Congress in Massachusetts Third District, said that last Friday's labor statistics show Congressman Jim McGovern's policies are hurting families and failing to address high unemployment rate in the 3rd District.
The Labor Department released statistics showing the nation shed another 125,000 jobs and 652,000 people gave up looking for work.
Lamb said Congressman McGovern is a Washington insider who is the most reliable vote Speaker Pelosi has in Congress. He supports her job-killing, big government agenda that has failed to produce jobs.
"McGovern voted for the $787 billion big spending stimulus plan which had not created jobs. He should have focused on helping the small business community instead of voting to waste tax dollars," said Lamb. "We are not going to get out this recession by adding more and more government jobs. We need private sector growth. Unfortunately the incumbent has never held a private sector job so he does not understand. All he knows how to do is spend tax dollars."
Here are a few of McGovern's ratings:

"As someone who has signed the front of paychecks, I know what it will take to help the small business community so that they can start producing jobs once again," said Lamb. "Our district cannot afford another two years of McGovern. We need to turn around the economy now."
