U.S. SENATOR SCOTT BROWN ENDORSES LAMB
Lamb Will Lend a Helping Hand in Ending Status Quo in Washington
October 30, 2010- Holliston, MA ...Today, Marty Lamb, Republican candidate for Congress in Massachusetts Third District, proudly announced that he has received the endorsement of U.S. Senator Scott Brown.
"Turning around our economy starts by electing new people to Congress, and that's why I'm proud to endorse Marty Lamb," Senator Brown said. "As a small business owner, Marty has the experience to help bring about economic change that will create jobs and put people back to work. Marty will shake up the status quo in Washington and will always represent the people in his district, not the special interest groups and lobbyists."
Lamb and Brown share many of the same positions. Both signed the No New Taxes pledge, oppose Obamacare, want tougher policies to stop illegal immigration and support turnaround the economy by easing the burden of regulations, taxes and mandates on the small business community.
"This is an important endorsement for our campaign. It shows that I am the candidate who can make a difference on the difficult issues facing our nation such as reforming Congress, cutting spending, and reviving our economy," said Lamb. "Scott Brown's endorsement will be a huge boost to our campaign as we head into the finals days of this election season."
Brown won the 3rd Congressional District by a wide margin and continues to be very popular with voters. Brown was the State Representative and Senator for a good portion of the district.
Lamb also believes that McGovern sharing many of the same positions as Martha Coakley on our country's most pressing issues is a detriment to the incumbent's re-election bid.
